We can either suck them or bite on the fibrous meat, or cut them, but only when it has been refrigerated. Otherwise, there would be fruit juice all over the place. It is like a big nipple bursting with milk.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The cashew nut is on top of the fruit and before they can be eaten, they have to be &amp;quot;burned&amp;quot; so that the outer shell falls off. Then the nut can be eaten either raw or roasted.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The fruit tree has a delicious perfume of the ripe fruit.
